So now I'm just gonna talk about the ending of the story.
*Warning this is a spoiler!*
Okay as you enter the town Folsense, you will uncover mysteries little by little.
You will find about the duke's two sons in the museum.
You will also find a diary inside the mine about what happened just 50 years ago.
50 years ago the duke claimed that he had found another kind of jewelry in the mine.
He said that it would be more valuable than the gold.
The miners (one of them wrote the diary) thought the other way around but just kept digging in the site.
Since then, many people died and ghosts had been reported showing around town.
Folsense is then said to be cursed.
Professor's journey continue to the castle. The one which villagers said to be a vampire's castle.
In their minds, they're still wondering how the town look so much alike like 50 years ago. Something must have changed in 50 years!
Professor Layton and Luke are welcomed by Anton, Mr. Anderson's older bro and his butler.
Again, how could Anton still looks so young? He's still the same as the picture that was taken 50 years ago.
Professor Layton and Luke decided to go to sleep. They had a nightmare.
Anton and Sophia (Anton's girlfriend I think) are dancing.
Suddenly everyone turned into vampires and tried to attack Professor and Luke.
The two woke up, found themselves tied by a rope by Anton. Anton said the two'll be a good meal.
They eventually escaped. And they meet Katia.
Anton thinks that Katia is Sophia (Sophia left many years ago) but Katia runs away from him.
Anton gets mad, and challenged the professor on a duel.
Anton got exhausted quickly but he didn't know why.
Katia explained that Anton is Katia's grandfather.
And that Sophia just passed away.
Hearing the nonsense Anton thought, he got mad and breaks everything in the castle.
The castle eventually collapsed.
It turns out that everything: the town, the villagers, and Anton's face is just an illusion given from hallucination gas that first spread out from the mine.
That's what make people die and how the rumours of the ghost first started.
Anton looked really old too now. He realized this and got sad.
The professor returns the Elysian box (or the diabolical box) to Anton.
The box actually contained a letter from Anton to Sophia.
Anton tried to give the box to Sophia, but it seemed that people's greed causes problems for Anton. The Elysian box, which was decorated with stones (that is the 'jewelry' from the mine) contained some hallucination gas from the stones.
So it doesn't make people who opened the box dead, but people who smell the gas from the box.
When Anton opens the box again, unexpectedly a letter from Sophia was there.
Sophia explained everything. She left Folsense and Anton because she didn't want their baby to be poisoned by the gas.
She also explained about Katia, and her mother who died shortly after giving birth to Katia.
Anton finally understands. Anton and Katia hugged each other.
And Professor and Luke are back with Flora.
Ok so that's my story. I mean the game's story.
